Teachers
Sandra Wooten, MA,
CMP, CHT, Senior Teacher, Director, RMCSW
Sandra began her studies with Marion Rosen in 1978. She incorporated
the Rosen Institute in 1983 and was the founding president of the Board
of Directors. In 1986 she began teaching in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and
in 1990 founded the Rosen Method Center Southwest. She has a private
practice in Rosen Method Bodywork in Orinda, CA. She has published several articles and a book on Rosen Method bodywork.
Since 1984 Sandra has taught Rosen Method bodywork and movement in the
United States, Europe, Scandinavia, and Russia. Currently, as director
of the Rosen Method Center Southwest, Sandra regularly teaches workshops
in Rosen Method bodywork for individual personal growth, professional
certification, and continuing education. Sandra is also on the faculty
of the Milton H. Erickson Institute of the Bay Area, Berkeley, and lectures
at conferences and academic symposiums.

Cameron Hough, LMT, Senior Teacher,
RMCSW Student Director
Cameron began her Rosen Method Bodywork training in 1987, studying with
Marion Rosen in Berkeley, California. In 1993 she was certified as a
Rosen Method practitioner. From 1982 through 1991 she taught bodywork
classes at the Scherer Institute of Natural Healing in Santa Fe, New
Mexico. In 1990 Cameron's involvement with the Rosen Method Center Southwest
began as she assisted in their workshops and intensives. Since that time
she has become a Senior Training Teacher and Student Director for the
RMCSW. Cameron maintains a private practice in Santa Fe, teaches workshops
throughout the United States, and is currently a Rosen Method Movement
intern.

Sarah Dandridge, LCSW-C, CMT, NCTMB
Sarah Dandridge, CMT, SEP, was trained by Marion Rosen and has been practicing Rosen Method for 23 years in the Bay Area. For many years, Sarah has been a Primary supervisor for Rosen interns and she co-taught the first training class for supervisor candidates in Berkeley. She has taught introductory workshops and co-taught intensives in Canada, Moscow, Santa Fe and the Bay Area.
She is also a certified practitioner of Somatic Experiencing, the technique developed by Peter Levine to resolve trauma in the body. Sarah served as treasurer of the Board of the Rosen Institute for 3 years. She is an avid bird watcher.
Alan Fogel, Teacher-in-training
Alan Fogel, Ph.D, is a Rosen Method bodywork practitioner, licensed massage therapist, and professor of psychology at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. He has been an active contributor to research on nonverbal communication, especially between infants and parents, for the past 35 years. He is the author of The Psychophysiology of Self-Awareness: Rediscovering the Lost Art of Body Sense (W.W. Norton & Company, 2009) and writes a blog on body sense for Psychology Today magazine (www.psychologytoday.com/blog/body-sense). Julia Martin, Movement Training Teacher
Julia began her training with Marion Rosen in 1991 and was certified
as a bodywork practitioner in 1995. She completed her training as a
Rosen Method Movement teacher in 1996. At that time she began her affiliation
with the Southwest Center leading movement and assisting in the bodywork
trainings. In 2002 she completed her training as a Movement Teacher
trainer. She maintains a practice in Rosen Method Bodywork in Fairfax,
CA as well as teaching a weekly movement class.
She is Director of Movement Training for Rosen Method Center Southwest
and teaches Rosen Movement in New Mexico and other areas of the country.
Marjorie Huebner, Movement Training Teacher
Marjorie Huebner came to Rosen Bodywork through her interest in the exploration of awareness. Her exploration began for her with modern dance and yoga. Since 1984 she has had a private bodywork practice, working in a variety of modalities, including massage, Trager, Craniosacral Therapy, and, since 2000, Rosen Method Bodywork and Movement. Other influences on her work include Body-Mind Centering, Hakomi, Continuum, and her practice of Vipassana Meditation, Non-Violent Communication, and Authentic Movement.
She began her studies in the Rosen Method in 1997 at the Rosen Method Center Southwest, where she studied with Sandra Wooten ,Cameron Hough, Karen Anderson and Julia Martin. She was Certified as a Rosen Practitioner in 2000, a Rosen Movement Teacher in 2005 and a Rosen Movement Teacher Trainer in 2008.
